For over 30 years, Isratech Jamaica Ltd has manufactured, designed, supplied and installed complete irrigation systems using the highest standards. The company subsequently expanded its offering to include the supply and installation of complete greenhouse systems.
Problem/ Challenge:
The need to avoid high energy bills to allow the company to have a reduced expenditure.
Solution
Isratech installed a Fronius inverter- based grid tie Solar PV system connected in balanced three-phase 220Vac format. The solar panels were installed on the rooftop of the main building on the premises.

Benefits, Results Achieved:
Isratech now saves over 32.85MWH per year avoided costs from the grid. The project fully utilizes the available roof space for solar panels and serves as a good example of ISRATECH’s use of its own service to deliver energy savings to its division. Other businesses in Montego Bay garnered motivation from this installation, increasing the overall corporate culture of making renewable energy an attractive goal.
